keshō-mawashi 化粧廻し
The embroidered ceremonial apron sekitori wear to enter the ring.
A keshō-mawashi is the embroidered silk apron with a gold fringe that sekitori wear for the ring-entering ceremony, and only then. The JSA says they cost upwards of about a million yen. Most are gifts from patrons or sponsors, and the design often reflects the giver or the wrestler's home region. A yokozuna has a matching set of three, so his two attendants match him.
