Banzuke

honbasho

One of the six official tournaments each year.

A honbasho is one of the six official tournaments each year, and their results decide the next banzuke. January, May and September are in Tokyo, March in Osaka, July in Nagoya and November in Fukuoka. Each runs for 15 days, from a Sunday to a Sunday.
