shukun-shō 殊勲賞
The special prize for outstanding performance against yokozuna and ōzeki.
What shukun-shō means
Shukun-shō is the special prize for outstanding performance, which the JSA describes as beating the most yokozuna and ōzeki. Like the other two special prizes, it's open only to top-division wrestlers below ōzeki who finish with at least eight wins. It can go to several wrestlers in one tournament, or to nobody.
